Yorkshire Griddle Cakes Recipe |

flour |

teaspoon baking powder |
| good
pinch of salt |
2oz
milk or buttermilk |
| 2oz
currants |

| Mix
all together with enough milk to make a fairly stiff dough.
Roll out into thin cakes, then bake quickly on a hot griddle
until golden brown. Split the cakes open and butter whilst hot.
