Apple Tartlets
Yorkshire Griddle Cakes Recipe
 
 
Ingredients
1lb flour 1 teaspoon baking powder
good pinch of salt 2oz milk or buttermilk
2oz currants  
   
Instructions
Mix all together with enough milk to make a fairly stiff dough. Roll out into thin cakes, then bake quickly on a hot griddle until golden brown. Split the cakes open and butter whilst hot.
