Apple Tartlets
Beef Collops Recipe
 
 
Ingredients
2lb minced beef ¾ pint stock
½lb onions, finely chopped 1 bundle herbs
20z dripping 2 tablespoons brown sauce
salt and pepper 12oz pearl barley, softened overnight
pinch of ground nutmeg  
Instructions
Fry the onion and mince in the dripping. Season, add the nutmeg, stock and herbs. Simmer for 40 minutes, add the brown sauce and barley. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes. Serve on a dish with a border of mashed potatoes.
